Wifi & Bluetooth
WiFi is a wireless connection to a home router or modem through a network card. WiFi are mostly used in houses and businesses but can also be used on the streets with things called hotspots - these are public WiFi routers that anyone can join but there is a risk of harmful data or data phishing due to the fact that you are on the same network as people you don't know. Anyone on that network could get your data. Hotspots are sometimes also known as the cloud.
Most home WiFi's have a range of around 30 meters meaning that the house is covered but the further you go away from that signal the weaker it will get and you will eventually disconnect from the network. WiFi has many advantages - for example if two people are on the same WiFi data can be exchanged with much more ease because you are on the same network or same LAN. Furthermore WiFi means that almost any home can have WiFi and wont have to pay exorbitant prices for their mobile data or use crowded and somtimes dangerous hotspots.
However there are some disadvantages with WiFi, for example data phishing is quiet common - people tricking you into going to fake links and putting your personal information in - and when you press enter your personal data is in their hands. It happens allot but there are some measures in routers and modems to stop this kind of thing happening such as verification of authenticity that some routers or anti virus software's do on websites.

Bluetooth is the process of passing data from one device or machine to another through a wireless network. This does not need WiFi but the devices both need a network that can pass data between each other.
Accessing the internet
There are certain disadvantages and advantages of using different devices to access the internet. For example a Desktop would have a faster connection speed to the internet than a mobile phone as it is linked through an Ethernet cable directly to the modem router or switch.
